Do you remember being younger and all the adults would say, ”you are what you eat.” That statement is as literal as it can get. Have you ever drank too much soda and woke up with a breakout or eaten spicy foods and next thing you see is your face red and flushed? Your skin is the biggest snitch EVER!

The main reason there is a face map with me at all times is because of its representation. Our faces alone can give us early warning signs of everything from dehydration to possible kidney failure. Why not get ahead of these issues with a plan to prevent these things from happening like adding vitamins to your daily regimen to eliminate deficiencies? Taking vitamins alone can promote the skin’s healing process and give you that extra glow.
As your esthetician it is my job to make sure you reach your goals with your skincare, but it can not be done without tackling our day to day habits. What is done at home can make a huge difference in your skincare results and the time in which you reach those milestones. Once you take a look at your diet structure, consider these acne triggers: sugar and carbs, dairy, and hormonal changes. You may even notice a few numbers drop on the scale while making these adjustments (if that’s on your to-do list).
If you need any help, text "Healthy Skin" to (470) 518-5863 so that we can help you find those triggers. At its core, I am here to support you however I can, so here’s a video with some great diet tips to get you started: HEALTHY, CLEAR SKIN | 10 nutrition & lifestyle tips for healthy skin
